Yippee!! As I write this we are experiencing a beautiful and relatively warm morning - a phenomena which has been all too rare this spring. I know we needed the rain, and in my other life as a farmers wife, I know this has saved our crops this year. However, none of us enjoy a soaking do we?
 the natural energy and calmness of the countryside is so energising
So with wellies pulled on, I marched along the well beaten path, around past the wood my husband planted with over a thousand trees many years ago (now a wildlife haven) and up to Boot Hill. Even the cat revelled in the sunshine, accompanying me today as my dogs would have done when they were still with us. Boot Hill glories in its name as the graveyard for our pets over the years; dogs, cats and even a gold-fish have been laid there with much reverence and ceremony.
